War of the Dragons Plot

The characters find themselves in Raprus, a kingdom that lost its entire royal family 3 years ago during the False Apocalypse. Anarchy ensued for the country. However, the Iron Guard, a guild of mercenaries stepped in to create some order.   The players meet each other, following their own paths, in Susa where tensions are high amongst the people. Many groups and individuals are stepping forward to take control of the government in the vacuum left by the royal family's disappearance. If nothing is done, or if the royal family isn't found soon, a civil war may ensue between 5 main political leaders, all of whom uses a dragon as a symbol of their power and right to rule.   While a civil war might break out, the party continues their adventuring oblivious to the dangers nearby. Thye find a nearby a dragon in disguuise and release from its immortal prision. This isn't any normal dragon either. This is the first dragon, he who sired all dragons. What will become of this country threatened by dragons both literal and figurative.   Keghyrra, the first dragon, first seeks out his allies from thousands of years ago. His heart is set upon ruling the entire planet as was his birthright. Nothing can stop the united might of a team of dragons lead by himself. Humanity would be easy to enslave; they fight amonst themselves too much. Keghyrra incites war and chaos from the shadows so that he can more easily find his comrades and conquer this nation.   What will these adventures do? Can they prevent a civil war? Can they find the royal family or kill the first dragon? Or will their attemps be  in vain?
