Smithy apprentice Yoandra Skye came to Any Port in a Storm after a stent as a galley assistant on the Maelstrom Palace. Her parents' ship sank, caught in a skirmish at sea with the Kenta royal navy, and Yoandra had to work for her keep until she found a port to call home.
She spends an annoying amount of time at the smithy fashioning nails, hooks, and wheels, but without her, these ships wouldn't be seaworthy. And maybe a ship she helped keep together might sink the Regal ship that sunk her parents' innocent merchant galley.
