Outside of New Thostenburg the Raddings family are laborers, farmers, and distillers who gain and loose land and reputation often in alternating generations due to their risk-taking nature. Inside New Thostenburg the Raddings hold the highest positions on The Council of New Thostenburg and are affluent bureaucrats.

In recent years, Fragio Raddings has begun renewing the family's fortune in Mumbee through gaming, gambling, and horse breeding. His children are coming of age and he has yet to decide who to pass the torch to.
