Kae'oaruun the Tormentor is the God of Nightmares. He is the Blackness Shattered after the crush of battle and the spiral into madness. He is the darkest part of the soul, tormented by its own actions. Kae'oaruun brings forth the fractured memories embedded in the depths of the dreamscape.

This dark, emaciated form appears in shadow. He is taller than the viewer, hunching over them uncomfortably close. He leans on a knarled staff. His breath smells of fresh-dug earth and decay. His clothes are tattered but recognizable as a uniform from the losers of the last regional war.
Body Features
Twisted horns, sharp tusks, and disfigured. Sometimes appears with a mangled leg; sometimes appears with missing fingers on one hand. Sometimes missing the right arm entirely.
