Fenati

Basic Information
Anatomy
The Fenati are a tall canid race from Xuri. They have large oft pointed ears, though some droop and others are more round than pointy, varying sizes of muzzles, and round oft brightly colored eyes. They have generally very fluffy tails, though this can vary and it's possible but rare for them to be born with no tail at all. They generally have large paws and have developed posable thumbs on their upper paws, while their back paws have developed to be larger, along with thicker larger legs in order to assist in remaining upright.
Most Fenati have adapted to be bipedal, though like their Zurosian counterparts, there are a few subraces of quadrupedal Fenati.
It is not unusual, however it is rare, to find a Fenati with Zurosian traits, largely such children were common during and after The Xuri Wars for a variety of stressful reasons. In the modern day and age, it's not unheard of for Zurosians looking to atone for their ancestors crimes to find Fenati children with obvious Zurosian heritage in their blood and petition their family to allow reparations to be paid and to offer medial knowledge related to diseases that affect Zurosians that normally do not affect Fenati, but affect those children.

Facial characteristics
They have large round colorful eyes, elongated muzzles, whiskers, and often groom the fur under their chins into elaborate and often braided beards.
The Fenati that remain on Xuri do not realize that any other Fenati still live, and thus believe themselves to be an endangered species, for this reason they have built upon technologies left behind when the rest of their species fled Xuri and have developed a cloaking mechanism for their main city to ensure it remains hidden deep in the jungle away from the former capital, known now as the Freslo Ruins.
Dark colorations are a rarity among the Fenati, however their fur can come in any variation of color even seemingly "unnatural neon" shades, this is due to the difference in light emissions from the different kinds of suns their colony worlds lie in orbit of.
