Maegen
The original capital of Forthrim, Maegen is the city of mages. It is here that the greatest wizards and sorcerers make their abode, Scir Rodin chief among them. It is here that the great airships are built, although the materials for their construction are shipped in from all over the country. The notable Grey Wolf Academy of Magic can be found within the city, as well as the Blood, Sun, and Sky Guilds of Magic.
Demographics
Race-wise, very diverse.
Most citizens can do at least one cantrip, and anyone who lacks magical knowledge is looked down upon by the residents of Maegen.
Government
Scir Rodin is the highest authority in the city, and he puts in power magicians that he deems noble and powerful, after they pass his personal tests.
Defences
Wall around the city made of stone that resists magic, although it is not magical itself.

History
Maegen was founded centuries ago by mages in the Old Kingdom. When Forthrim was born, it was the original capital city.
Architecture
Pointed buildings around, many wizard towers jutting out like teeth.
Geography
Jagged area. In the center of the city is the Hill of Gungloth, upon which the Scir's tower stands. If one looks west from the top of this tower, the ocean can be seen on the horizon.
Natural Resources
There was once gold under the city, but the veins have long been mined dry.
