2025-09-04 Road to Elturel

After Ovak revealed the details of his encounter with Hu Lien, we met with Sudeid and agreed to go to Elturel and find the Tome of the Creed Resolute. The merchant vetoed the idea of a water voyage, citing lack of cargo runs due to the season and lack of Elturel as a resupply port, and the expense of a private charter. After some brief provisioning, including the purchase of a pack mule, we headed out.

The first night was unexpectedly eventful. An explosion of flame and concerns about a possible brushfire led us to the remains of what appears to be some sort of failed magical activities. One furious battle later, we destroyed a pair of hell hounds and a quartet of ghouls.
