The Cup and Board
The Cup and Board is located on the corner of Savile Road and Clifford Street and is just down the street from the Expeditionary Society of Dalaran. The pub has long been the favorite drinking spot for many adventurers and has a famous jobs board. The board includes mundane opportunities such as merchants looking for caravan guards to adventuring groups looking for a trustworthy rouge. A smaller section of the board features people looking for work. A group that fills its slot is encouraged to ring the bell and buy a round for good luck. As groups exit the pub on an adventure, it is customary to yell "Courage." The pub is owned by Missy Townsend who inherited from her father Myles. The Townsend family lives above the pub in the area that was once used as an inn.
History
Opened in 1402 by Charles "Three Fingers" Townsend after being kicked out of the Expeditionary Society of Dalaran for drunkness on multiple occasions. Frustrated by not having an outlet for a good time he hung up his red cloak and opened the Cup and Board. The Cup and Board has mellowed over the years but still caters to the adventuring crowd.
