Labor golems are fairly known by the public mainly being used by the Empires and the Other Powers, however, construction of military-grade ones are only known by certain groups within these civilizations.
Complexity
The golems are easy to control as they only do manual labor, however more complex variants like military-grade golems are far more capable by installing them with battle styles and magic spells.

Originally created by the dragons, many other races however created their own variants.
