The Judicial Committee of the National Assembly of Guntreland

The Judicial Committee is a body consisting of ten members of the National Assembly of the Republic of Guntreland who have had a legal education, assigned to perform the highest judicial authority on the legislature's behalf. As part of the sovereign government, the Judicial Committee is authorised to try any person who is not a member of parliament (who are tried by the Court of the thirteen of the twenty-six, who are selected by the defendant himself from a list which, along with the members of the Judicial Committee, consists of sixteen more members of parliament, elected ad hoc plenarily for each particular case) and to pronounce any sanction predicated by the Constitution and by the law. The Judicial Committee is headed by Wenzel Vernas.
