Kingdom of Guntreland
The Kingdom of Guntreland is a de facto rump state, following the Guntreland Revolution. It occupies the Schwänz Peninsula and several islands. Military forces of the Congress Order are stationed there. It's an absolute monarchy ruled by Alphonse Afsen, known by monarchists as "King Alphonse III".
The Anti-Werewolf Royal Law of Guntreland
The Anti-Werewolf Royal Law of Guntreland was an act enforced in the Kingdom of Guntreland with the purpose of persecuting werewolves.
In the Kingdom of Guntreland, werewolves had none of the rights of man and of the citizen, forcing them to spend their lives hiding in the woods, catching diverse game and consuming its flesh, seeking refuge from hunting parties which were regularly organised against them. These laws are still valid in the parts of Guntreland still under Royalist control.
The Werewolves' Goldfinch
The Royal Orderly had promised any man who were to kill a werewolf and bring his corpse to the royal authorities a prize in the amount of a goldfinch. A later orderly was to grant the werewolves 'Royal grace' introducing pales of settlement in which hunt on werewolves was forbidden. However, since these parts were commonly in shortage of game, since hunting was held in high esteem by the Guntrelandian aristocracy, the werewolves were often forced to leave these isolated parts in search for food, where the Royal grace did not apply.
