The Raven Queen
Born a bastard child from an affair, many though Crescenzia would never take the crown. Crescenzia did not just ascend the throne, she sent assassin after assassin against her kin to insure her crown. The military and economic strength of the River Lily has surged under her strict eye and iron fist, and so has the number of executions. The first 10 years of her rule had a greater number of executions of her very court members than the last three monarchs had combined. She refuses to give an inch of leniency and will expel any who she deems weak or unfit... to the gallows if they knew too much. The wise listen to her out of fear, and the unwise learn quickly if they survive.
Philosopher Queen
The reason for her title comes from more than the happenstance name of Ravenhall, the capital of the empire, for Crescenzia has made great strides to broaden her personal library. From foreign history to economics, she is well versed in all forms of law, including magics. An insatiable first for knowledge pushed her into communications with the sapphire circle, where she took personal tutelage from several archmages. In her search, she has picked up on many foreign forms of art, which she proudly displays across her personal courtroom. She has even composed her own music, a terrible stringing together of sounds and instruments from across Fehr'gia, which all applaud and clap to in order to not invoke her wrath.
Precaution and Precision.During her earlier years, she encountered the esteemed intelligence officer rising through naval ranks Bernardus Corvinus. The exact trip they met a mystery to time, as is how many glasses of wine they shared that evening, all that is known is that their discussions quickly forged a fast friendship. Recognizing the worth of the officer, she inducted him into her court, and together they would put together the Meititore, a group of assassins hand-selected from among the highest performing soldiers. Members of the Meititore would study all known forms of biology and train tirelessly to become perfect weapons for the Raven Queen.
