Bernardus Corvinus

Portmaster Bernardus Corvinus, Sir (a.k.a. The Sea Grizzly)

Fight to Survive

Youngest of six, Bernardus was a child under the Corvinus lineage, a bloodline tracing back to the great war. Famous for their service to the crown, they have continued an unerring loyalty of highly trained professionals. From youth, he was given the highest level of education, of which he took every opportunity with an exceptional knack for learning and an eidetic memory. Mastering every prominent language, every book of anatomy from around the globe, his one weakness was his body. While he was no slouch, he did not exactly excel in martial arts or weapon training, this did not prevent him from quickly rising through the ranks as his competitors quickly withdrew without complaint. Serving under the imperial navy, he had an air tight alibi as his siblings befell tragic accidents left and right, Leaving him head of house Corvinus when his enlistment ended.   Having grown quite a name during his active Duty, he took the River Lily court by storm, his tales of heroism and razor sharp wit won him many allies, especially the queen, who instantly noted his usefulness. She would quickly employ him on a grand variety of tasks, as a diplomat, infiltrator, espionage. His unerring success brought him even higher honors, until the point of his "Retirement." Bernardus now lives out on the docks of Silver Port, keeping his eye on the criminal underbelly, and bending it in just enough the right direction to aid the crown's interest.
