- They are described as: Steel fully articulated rags, covered in fuel & held on to skeleton by caltrop like spikes small pieces of sodium metal. They also carry acid sacks in their torsos that they can spit from.

When Leonardo was 5 he was adopted into the Benevito family by Alucard. Alucard raised & taught him in various aspects & turned him into a Dead Apostle. Before the NYC Holy Grail War started he sent Leonardo away with some of him familiars to one of his houses in Hawaii.

Leonardo was educated from home, with Alucard & his maids teaching him most of what he knows.

Leonardo summoned Mary using a candle covered in his blood. Their contract ended when Mary was killed by the combined effort of Arsalan, Sinbad, & Hou Yi.
History
In his search for a catalyst, Alucard stumbles upon a young child named Leonardo. Alucard decides to Leonardo in & raises him, turning him into a Dead Apostle in the process. Eventually Alucard uses his wealth to acquire the Atago Hyakuin & sends Leonardo away with some of his familiars to a house in Hawaii.
