Biography

Aristotle was an Ancient Greek philosopher & polymath. His writings cover a broad range of subjects spanning the natural sciences, philosophy, linguistics, economics, politics, psychology & the arts. As the founder of the Peripatetic school of philosophy in the Lyceum in Athens, he began the wider Aristotelian tradition that followed, which set the groundwork for the development of modern science.

Fate/Erythraean's name is a reference to multiple servants in the HGW. Erythraean is another word used by the Greeks to refer to the Red Sea, referencing Aristotle's heritage.

History

Yi summoned Aristotle using Aristotle's annotated copy of the Iliad which he gave to Alexander the Great.

Relationship Reasoning

Aristotle views Yi as a mage with wasted potential, that would rather fish for hours than learn about the world of magecraft. Yi views Aristotle as a condescending dick. Their relationship grows in their last battle together, with Yi showing that he's a competent master after all & earning Aristotle's respect. Aristotle reminds Yi of some of his old teachers, while Yi reminds Aristotle of a young Iskandr.
