Serpentine Dragons
Serpentine Dragons are fluid as the winds, swift as the currents, and bound to neither earth nor sky. Their elongated bodies move with impossible grace, coiling through the air, across the land, or beneath the waves as if the boundaries between elements do not apply to them. Unlike their more rigidly structured kin, they do not rely on wings to take flight—instead, they move through unseen forces, lifted by the ebb and flow of Aether itself.
These dragons embody the balance between physical form and magical will, their very existence proof that motion and energy are intertwined. Some are adorned with flowing manes and twisting horns, others bear luminous scales that shift with the seasons, while a few seem to flicker between substance and spirit, their presence felt before it is seen.
Unlike their more territorial cousins, Serpentine Dragons are often viewed as keepers of wisdom, bearers of fortune, or harbingers of unseen change. Some are revered, their movements said to shape the weather or guide the fate of those who encounter them. Others are feared, their sudden appearances heralding tempests, floods, or cataclysmic upheaval.
Legends claim that no Serpentine Dragon is bound to a single realm—that they slip between the planes as easily as they traverse the skies, leaving behind only ripples in the fabric of the world. Whether such tales are truth or mere myth, one thing remains certain: when a Serpentine Dragon rises, the world itself seems to breathe in its wake.
