Appearance

Erwyn stands around 3ft 8", with blue skin that gently shifts to a soft violet hue near the tip of his long ears and around his nose. His eyes are a mellow light green, calm and knowing. His ears are highly expressive and often twitch or droop with his mood. A dense cluster of piercings adorns his right ear—scraps of bone, shell, and old iron.   He is bald but sports a thick, swooping black moustache that he twirls when deep in thought. His eyebrows are bushy and curl up at the ends, often giving him a permanently amused expression.
  Erwyn wears a well-loved ivory twill shirt with toggled lacing down the chest, over which he layers a leather apron stuffed with pockets, tools, and bits of his enchanting craft. Heavy shell-rimmed glasses balance on his nose. His boots are thick, worn, and always muddy. Across his back, shoulders, and hands are old Hollow Grove runic tattoos, faded with time but still pulsing faintly with dormant energy.
 

Backstory

Erwyn served the Hollow Grove as a Blightbinder for much of his life, maintaining necrotic wards and constructing protective runes deep in the Witherwilds. Eventually, age and a series of injuries convinced him to take a quieter life. He settled in Mirehollow and built the Inn himself—shaping it with natural curves and reclaimed materials, wishing to create a place where wandering scholars, Grove scouts, and even weary strangers could rest in safety.   He began crafting mugs from local clay as a hobby, but over time his enchantments grew more creative. He now delights in tiny magical flairs—warming charms on mugs, lights that dim when quiet falls, even the occasional singing stool (which often gets muffled by an irritated guest).   Though he no longer travels, he remains deeply curious, especially about enchanting lore, often trading drink or shelter for any scrap of arcane wisdom travelers might offer.
