Minutemen Navy Corps
Structure
Ranks are organized as followed: Admiral, Captain, Master Cheif, Petty Officer, Seaman. The Admiral oversees all naval operations from Egret or from a frontline capital ship. Captains command large ships and any escorts. They also command land operations undertaken by any Frogmen. Master Cheifs oversee major ship operations and captain patrol boats. Petty Officers oversee squads of Seamen and routine ship operations.
Culture
Many of the senior members are made up of Far Harbor citizens due to the navy being responsible for security on and in the waters around the island. Far Harbor residents have extensive experience with ship maintenance, sailing, fishing, navigation, and semi-aquatic combat, making them exceptional for navy operations. Due to the majority of the navy being Islanders, their culture reflects that of the island. Navy personnel are rugged, pragmatic, and unfazed by some seaspray and cold.
The Navy is regarded by some as having a chip on their shoulder. The CFR had never faced a threat from the sea before The Red Tide, so the large navy the minutemen kept was often seen as purely for show. This wasn't helped by the stark contrast in the navy's popularity between the mainland and The Island, meaning its existence was often regarded as a way of pleasing Marino, especially with how much shipbuilding for the navy boosted its economy. This tension would boil over when, during the battle of Boston Bay, the Navy Corps proved woefully inadequate against The Red Tides modern military fleet and the battle was only won thanks to the Air Corp's support and the Liberator's attack on the enemy flagship.

Public Agenda
The Navy's primary objectives are the guarding of coastal waters and trade routes between Far Harbor and mainland CFR. They also have the responsibility of patrolling the island and its settlements.
