The Foxwoods, named for its supposedly numerous foxes, is a temperate rainforest a wary traveller would be wise to traverse swiftly and to never spend the night beneath its woesome treeline. Any number of cruel fate could befall one ignorant of the wisdom bestowed onto you, dear reader, in this trusty guide. Hordes of vicious creatures with tearing claws and gnashing teeth are held at bay only by the slowly dissapearing sunlight, though these are far from the most devious foe to be found in these woods. The notorious criminals known as the Foxwood Archers, mistakenly revered by the thick-headed storytellers of the Hinterlands as unorthodox heroes and romantic rogues, are in fact naught more than murderers and bandits, led by the bloodthirsty Yuri the Red, they have been known to descend upon unexpecting travellers to relieve them of their treasures, and oft, their very lives.
