The Jewelled Horizon
The ocean waters to the east of the Terrasmus and west of Soleimia are known as the Jewelled Horizon. Named for the glittering waters that accompany the rising and setting sun, resembling the reflection of precious gems.
No one has yet been able to cross the ocean and sail to the other coast. Those turned back have claimed that it was difficult to navigate, with compasses and star maps leading them astray. Fortunately there is little interest in traversing the Jewelled Horizon as the journey over Poseidon's Cradle is shorter.
Many sailors tell stories of undiscovered lands, but all the evidence of the brightest mages suggest that there's nothing between Soliemia and Terrasmus but water.
