Dionysus - God of Festivity
Dionysus is the God of Festivity, Ecstasy and Madness, he is also the patron of the theatre and of narcotics. Dionysus is a jolly and carefree deity, more preoccupied with joy and pleasure to the goings on of the universe.
Dionysus can usually be found in attendance at parties all over the Feywild along with a retinue of Centaurs and Satyr whom they are the Divine Patron of. Dionysus can also be found blessing and overseeing theatre and comedy performances.
Dionysus was the Demigod child of Zeus who spent their life hosting grand and ecstatic parties all over Exorsia and the Planes, commonly in honour of the Gods. The Gods adored Dionysus so much that when they died they were ascended to godhood and given domain over the festivities that they had mastered in life, so that the party would never end. Dionysus is often credited with the creation of wine, but more accurately Dionysus invented the dilution of wine so that more could be drunk.
Dionysus is more commonly worshipped in the Feywild, but they are also worshipped by theatre performers, comedians and party hosts for good luck.
