Atlas - Titan of Air

Atlas is the Titan of Air and Endurance. He is said to have been an incredibly strong Giant, capable of withstanding anything thrown at him.   Atlas was also associated with the calm skies and the infinite horizon that separates the sky from the earth, in contrast to Zeus’ destructive storms. It is said that Atlas was the first to study the stars, using them to navigate the world and track the seasons.   Atlas was created by his mother Gaia as part of her plot to usurp the Gods. He was created to one day usurp control over the Elemental Plane of Air from its current ruler Zeus. But that never came to be as Atlas and his two brothers, Epimetheus and Prometheus, were defeated by the Gods during Gigantonomy, and imprisoned away.   One ancient legend tells that Atlas was imprisoned to hold up the horizon, but it is unknown whether this is true, and its plausibility has largely been debunked by the scientific community.

Apperance:

Atlas is often depicted as a giant sized, muscular, masculine figure, with earthen skin, short, white hair and a thick beard.
