Power Level:

Demigod

Alignment:

Lawful Neutral

Description:

Draella stands as a paragon of just marksmanship and unwavering protection. Once a mortal huntress, she ascended to demigoddesshood after saving her village from annihilation by the Jotenkin and besting the gods Freyr and Gonnard in a fateful hunting challenge. Celebrated for slaying the monstrous Great Frostrill Boar when divine champions failed, she now patrols the borders of civilization, fostering peace between humankind and the Jotenkin tribes and inspiring valor in all who follow her.

Physical Appearance:

A slender young woman clad in living-bark leathers and woven moss cloaks. Her longbow is carved from ancient yew, inlaid with boar-tusk filigree. Stray tendrils of ivy wind through her auburn hair, and her keen green eyes gleam with stern justice. A belt of polished horns and feathers encircles her waist, each token a tribute to a life protected or a threat felled.

Lore:

Born a humble tracker in a remote Human settlement, Draella’s destiny was sealed when marauding Jotenkin warriors, empowered by capricious gods, razed her home. Challenged to a divine hunt by Freyr and Gonnard, she faced the legendary Great Frostrill Boar. When both gods faltered, she loosed a single perfect arrow, felling the creature and saving countless lives. In awe, Freyr granted her demigodhood. Since then, Draella bridges the Human and Jotenkin realms, guiding peace talks and defending the weak with unwavering resolve.

Many Human Clans along the Mountain borders of the South Frostrill Mountain Range claim Liniage or Bloodline to Draella. Over the last few hundred years, this has even been said to give birth to Nordlandic Clans as Humans and Jotenkin have commingled. The Jotenkin reserve a place of Honor in their lore for Draella despite her human lineage, and the stories and legends became more prolific as the the two Cultures blended.
