Type 14

The Type 14 Tank is a Gwelin-designed landship powered by a cold-infused mana battery. It moves over ice and snow on spiked continuous track, though they have been modified on occasion for use on muddy or rocky terrain. The shell is made of steelwood and plated with hollow falseironor bronze plates, though in emergencies it is not unheard of to deploy unarmored tanks to fight. When struck with a projectile, the plates collapse, absorbing the impact and limiting the damage to the tank itself.    Across the body, small exposed panels allow for archers, crossbowmen, musketeers, and battle mages to loose barrages at an enemy from relative safety. Each carries six siege rockets that are launched from a long gun in the front. Though the cannon is stationary and the vehicles are slow to turn normally, a pilot can expend a significant charge of a cold battery to freeze the ground as the tank moves quickly, causing a controlled and fast slide to turn it swiftly. The running cold batteries in an enclosed space such as the tank brings the inner air well below freezing, with engineers and pilots often reporting frostbite. This is a powerful upside however, as the Gwelin militia forces also utilize the tanks to move food and revivable corpses to appropriate locations. To this end, the Type 14 has an enlarged storage bay on the bottom of the tank at the cost of standing room for those inside, who travel sitting down or squatting.
