The Ever-Life Forest
The Splintering
Before the Tribunic War, the former Duke of Karse, Lorathion Ellianguard, made a deal with a pact of druids to magically reinforce the leaving army of Elvish Soldiers. The blessing magically enhanced the soldiers ot be stronger, tougher, and faster to make up for a lower number of soldiers contributing in the coming battle. As a consequence to this deal, Duke Ellianguard unkowingly sacrificed his son, and doomed his country. As the battle was taking place on the Field of Sorrow , a great fire erupted across the Ever-Life forest, leading to mass dissaray across the Kingdom. King Nylian, leading the army in this battle, had perished, leaving the mortal realm without any heirs. To unite the nation, the King's brothers took upon themselves the power to rule, however, this lead to interior conflict, causing an already weakened nation to cascade and crumble, losing all identity of their former might and leaving only 18 tribes. It is prophesied that from King Nylian's blood may an Elf be born to reunite the tribes back into the Ever-Life Kingdom but due to the death of King Nylian and him not siring any heirs, many pass the prophesy as legend.18 Tribes
The former Ever-Life Kingdom had been reduced to a total of 18 tribes. Each tribe varries in culture, with some focused on the power of individuals, lead by a single Chief, while other, with more democratic ideals, are lead by tribunals or oligarchies. While each tribe is independant from another, they are held together through a defensive pact to join the other tribes when faced with the possibility of war, as well as their Evlish identities.
Neighboring Nations
Neutral, Lack of Nation
Through many past conflicts with the former Ever-Life Kinkdom, the Commiserate (and Dwarves as a whole), have earned a distain for and from the Elves. A lack of any proper nation has lead to a void in any diplomacy with the forest.
