Vydenza: The Great Magocracy

Vydenza is the shining jewel of magic in Ocias. Over its many centuries it has become home to many prodigious schools and scholars. Almost all of the people of Vyndenza have some sort of magical ability, some more talented than others. Everything from the forge to the florists are touched by magic. Most places would have trouble with using this amount of magic in the same place, risking total extinction of magic in that area for generations to come; however, the great mages of Vydenza have found a solution! By using the water that flows through their great oasis they can keep the arcane power circulating, allowing them to use a nearly limitless pool of innate magical potential.

This seemingly limitless pool of magic gave birth to a nation ruled by an elite class of mages, the strongest of which is the Archmage. The Archmage rules from the comfort of the Vydenian Observatory in the capital city of Tienagrad. The ruling class below the Archmage are known as Seers, chosen by the Archmage to assist in the ruling of the nation.

Despite its power and resources, Vyndenza is small compared to the other kingdoms of Ocias. The Capital, Tienagrad, and its sister city, Antiri. Tienagrad is the largest city in Ocias, taking up the space of an entire small sea. The bulk of Tienagrad is below the surface of the water and descends many layers down. Its sister city Antiri is built atop a plateau between the ocean and the land. Antiri is an amalgamation of large towers and rock formations that reach towards the sky.
