The Tenepine
Dragons of Tenepid

The Tenepine are the dragon inhabitants of the island of Tenepid, formerly part of the Pid Isles. In their dragon form, they tend to have noticeably smaller wings than those that live on the islands around them, and most Tenepine are unable to fly as a consequence. This has led to other dragons (especially the Ospine, Caspians, and Weypine) actively avoiding intimate relationships with the Tenepine due to the concern of passing on this trait to their offspring. It is currently unknown what caused this quirk of evolution, but it was present at the Renewal.
Despite this - as some would say - disadvantage, the Tenepine have a reputation as a friendly, welcoming people. They maintain close diplomatic ties with the islands near them, and even extend the same courtesy to Serukis on the mainland. They are extremely proud of the island on which they live, especially its more than one hundred windmills.
How does the wing size affect cultural/sexual preferences amongst the Tenepine? Are those that have retained the ability to fly held in higher regard than their peers?
Bigger wings are more desirable, for sure, and being able to fly where no one else can would definitely open up a lot of social advantages.
