The Saltlanders are the people of Saltmire, a small island off the northern coast of Serukis. Saltmire is generally considered to be part of Serukis, but the mainland hardly ever interferes in the island's affairs. The Saltlanders number at around a hundred in total population. Their lifestyle centres mostly around fishing, gathering shellfish such as cockles and mussels, and raising sheep.
