The Caillish Text

Scripture of the Faith

This article was written for Summer Camp 2024. Therefore it is unpolished and lacking formatting and information. Feel free to comment with any questions or requests for clarification.
The Caillish Text is an additional book of scripture for the Faith, meant to be read as a supplement to the Numinen, the holy book of the religion. It was written by one of the first Caillish kings, Arkon I, in 2655 EA. He claimed that the Mother had visited him in his dreams and commanded that he write down her word.   The original is handwritten on vellum and bound with cracked leather. It is kept safe in a vault at The Pale Bones of Our Lady in Codura, the capital city of Caillah.   The Text describes the afterlife of the Faith in detail, with a focus on the punishments for various sins and the rewards for following the religion's tenets. It was this document that formed the basis of the Caillish laws against the practise of other religions in the country, and instrumental in the institution of the death penalty in the case of particularly heretical religions such as Gen Mai.   It is not considered canonical by other denominations of the Faith. The official stance of the Father in Erias is that the visions of the Mother that led to the writing of the Text were false.

I hope you expand this article with more facts about the content. I would like to know more about what is considered a sin or what rewards one can expect after death.

I'm not at all surprised some people don't consider "stuff I wrote after a dream" to be canonical...

I can see how this fits into the other differences the Orthodoxy has adopted - nice!
