Kelvin is the oldest son of Jun Tran Yamamoto, and was the first in line to take over Yamamoto Defense in the event of his father's passing. He is incredibly technically competent, and projected to become a Monolith before his 40s.
Kelvin went missing after discovering his father's secret bioweapons lab, where scientists were conducting experiments on unwilling participants. Among these participants was Fykknou Vvich, a childhood friend of Kelvin's younger brother Korgin.
After his discovery, Kelvin fled the Andromeda Syndicate and traveled into Pact space, to Br'rvaGishani, where he suspected his father was sourcing some of the bioweapons from. Specifically, he traveled to Strashya Atoll, which was owned by the family's survivalist trainer, Zaffir.
Korgin, Zaffir, and Fykk traveled to Strashya in search of Kelvin, but have since discovered that he's already departed north, to the Thromboid Vale, which appears to be covered over in the same fungaloid as is growing over Fykk.
