Anatomy

The Parvulusi are bipedal, Sylvan-looking creatures, but have one significant difference- translucent wings. Their wings vary in size, shape, color, pattern, and design, and no two have the same wings.

Genetics and Reproduction

Only reproduce during Flourish and Harvest, when the weather is mild. If the weather is too warm, they will wait until the next year. Do not bleed like Sylvans.

Growth Rate & Stages

Three years for a Parvulusi is one (OUR) human year of growth.

Ecology and Habitats

Live in tree top treehouses or underground in caves. Those who can't fly due to injury or birth defect live on land.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Strictly vegetarian diet for some, strictly meat for others depending on agression.

Behaviour

50/50 on aggression. Some Parvulusi are extremely aggressive (they live in the caves) and the rest are extremely polite and lovely.

Social Structure

Those who live in caves stay there until they are bored, then wreck havoc on those who live on land and in the trees. The above ground Parvulusi hate the underground ones and vise versa, creating an extreme amount of tension and the need for a strict government system. The system banned going within 100ft of the openings to the underground Parvulusi's caves, and all those who disobeyed had their wings shredded and were sent to the ground.

Uses, Products & Exploitation

Pyxie dust is a potent hallucinogen, while Feyrie dust is a very powerful ingredient in healing potions. Also make a majority of Etheria's clocks.

Facial characteristics

Very sharp facial features, big eyes, large pointed ears, sharp teeth (if agressive), silky hair (usually golden blonde, silver, or pastels), thin fingers.
Deep Cave Parvulusi often have milky white or completely black eyes due to lack of sunlight.
All have classic Etherian marks.

Live on Somnium, 3/4 above ground 1/4 below.

Average Intelligence

Most are incredibly lacking with intelligence, but select few are intelligent when it comes to mischief and causing problems. Overall, a very irritating and mischevous bunch.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Excellent long distance vision, not so great up close. Very mild night vision, only exception are the Deep Cave Parvulusi, who have excellent night vision and horrible vision in the day time.
Native to Somnium, which gives them power over time itself. A select group are 'time keepers', who maintain timelines. The rest either make majick clocks, or manipulate the past, present, or future.
Past: minor memory changes, sometimes can make themselves look younger
Present: can see a variety of chocies they can make (butterfly effect)
Future: Can see the consequences of actions, but don't know which actions cause it.

Civilization and Culture

Naming Traditions

Tree-top: names that flow off the tongue, with lots of vowels
Walker: Nature themed names
Deep Cave: More rough, gutteral names

Beauty Ideals

Tree top and Walker Parvulusi believe the Deep Cave are ugly, and vice versa. Extremely judgemental of each other as well. Beauty trends are rapid and unforgiving. Aging is seen as a disease, and once they begin showing signs of age, they are forced to either fix it quickly or live on land with shredded wings.

Gender Ideals

The only ancient Etherian race that has women as the 'inferior' gender. They are expected to be household wives and please the men. The only ones to have women take the last name of men as well.

Courtship Ideals

The women are expected to seek out men as soon as they turn twenty.

Relationship Ideals

The women cook all meals, care for children, and tend to the mens needs with little to no help or reward in return.

Average Technological Level

Most 'technologically advanced', with working engines, factories, and clocks as of only 150 years after their creation.

Extremely rude and judgemental, hold very very high standards and anyone who doesn't meet that standard is shunned.

Common Dress Code

Perfect outfits made of fine silk, cloth, and leather. All brightly colored.

History

The seventh race to come to Etheria in 506 R.O.C. They first wanted to make cities in the sky, but after realizing how much work it would be, they instead settled on building tree houses. The aggressive Parvulusi, disgusted by the non-aggresive, found caves to live in instead.
