Nomadic Witches
Living this life either by choice or due to being forced from their homes during the years of burning and afraid to settle again, nomadic witches are not tethered to a single place. This is unusual for the commonly stationary witch, who spends decades cultivating their surroundings into the perfect environment.
Due to their life on the road, nomadic witches are less likely to have a daughter, often living a very solitary life. While some may still meet up with their coven at regular intervals, others choose to leave all of their previous life behind them and rarely meet another witch in their many years of life. Another anomaly concerning nomadic witches is related to the winter hibernation. Despite it being within the witch's nature to rest during this time, a surprisingly large amount of nomadic witches ignore this tradition, choosing instead to continue their life on the road.
The most common types of witches that become nomadic witches are mythic and cosmic. Due to their love of stories, mythic witches may occasionally wonder out in an attempt to gather more tales to collect and share with their coven. Cosmic witches are often more spiritual, believing that the stars are messages from the gods and some may depart on an quest to find meaning and purpose. However, while these are the most common, other witch types can also begin a nomadic lifestyle, each with their own reasons for leaving the communal life of witches.
Nomadic witches may travel over the entirety of Estara, bringing with them a spark of life, that they inject into the environment. However, others, perhaps scared of the outside world, will stay in Thaele, yet still never stop moving, exploring every single tree, leaf, and nest they find.
There is another type of nomadic witch. A witch that has been banished from the lands by the grand coven will be forced to never stop moving, forbidden from settling down anywhere in Thaele.
