The Sol Fresco

History:

Affixed to the ceiling in The Blind Temple painted by blind monks in UE 681 the Sol Fresco is a series of 8 paintings, which in aggregate reveal the inner workings of the surrounding planetary bodies, the sun and Espen's 3 moons.   While it is considered a masterpiece by artists the world over, many are skeptical of what is considered a variety "myths" surrounding its conception. As each monk, priest, and cleric that studies there has a variety of disciplines on which they may be considered experts, the fact that all of them were blinded during the initiation into the highest levels of the faith makes them unlikely artists. Though very few are willing to question a monk of Blind Order as one thing that they are surely proficient in is combat.   Taken as a whole the 8 paintings represent the most accurate calendar and star map known in existence. Individually there are intricate depictions of Human history throughout the centuries.
