Eshor Style Guide
Something said by someone about the topic of the article.
This article is a demonstration of the intended formatting standard for articles in Eshor. This paragraph should be a 4-5 line description of the subject in broad terms - the elevator pitch version of the article. It should be at least 4 lines to account for the height of the drop caps - if eventual CSS plans change the size of that letter, than the line count will need to be adapted accordingly.
First Section
This will be the most important thing about the subject. Details about a location, information about who a character is and why they are noteworthy, etc. This paragraph will be quite a few lines for most articles, taking up the blank space below imposed by the picture on the right, replacing the need for the divider image below
First Subsection
This row contains 1 to 3 columns that contain notable information. For example, notable landmarks within a location or details about a person's personality, their skills and abilities, and physical description. If there are too many subsections to fit here reasonably, a second row with more will be added, and balanced out accordingly.
Second Subsection
If appropriate art of a thing is available, one of these columns may be a picture instead of a subsection. Maps, statblocks, and similar inserts are also possible.
Second Section
This and following sections will contain details that are intended more as background lore rather than being immediately relevant. For many articles, this will contain history or backstory elements. Subsections, as relevant, will take a similar format to the first section's example, thus breaking up the text to avoid the dreaded wall-of-text effect.
At the very bottom of each article, a navigation table will offer other articles in the category and other articles/categories that are relevant. Setting up the tables necessary for this is a project planned for January 2026.
