The Enduring Ones
THE ENDURING ONES
The eight members of The Enduring Ones are considered to be immortal royalty of the Moata Solar System - they have also been occasionally referred to as the Oōruritē Royals.
Although spoken of as if they are siblings, The Enduring Ones were not born, in truth - they stepped out of the shadows of Outlying Space at the edge of the Zlaris Universe. They have no bloodline - to have in common. Except for the Twins, Crave and Perdita, who appeared together as if stitched into one form of two complete beings. The slow process of them separating did was not complete until the Elder Days (6 to 9 Billion years ago).
The Enduring Ones have existed long before the Zlaris Universe containing the Moata Solar System came into being, and will exist long after the last embers of the burn out.
The appearance of the eight Enduring Ones cannot be dated. These Immortal Royalty existed prior to the Elder Days. Like The Fates, they have been there from the beginning of the Zlaris Universe and will be there after the end.
The Enduring Ones greeted Moatama (the Creation; the Creator) as she sorted the dust grains and the gas into the different molecules and elements. They were without more than their own realms and needed a greater purpose, until life was created in The Prime Material Plane.
These eight immortals are strongly linked to The Fates - especially the two eldest of The Enduring Ones - Destine and Scythe. The Fates' actions are seen as unchangeable, and they embody the concept that everyone has an allotted fate - down to cutting the thread of life, which signifies a death. The Fates have threads of gold for the few Immortals they do focus on - including the members of The Enduring Ones.

* Mother Night named Lunais = a cosmic royal being, embodiment of the absolute emptiness of Outlying Space that predates creation of the Moata Solar System - who is also somehow related to Moatama.
* Father Day named Solax = a Oōruritē royal counterpart - younger than Mother Night - spoken as the embodiment of the first existence of starlight of a star which has the properties of a life-giving sun.
* Mother Night named Lunais = a cosmic royal being, embodiment of the absolute emptiness of Outlying Space that predates creation of the Moata Solar System - who is also somehow related to Moatama.
* Father Day named Solax = a Oōruritē royal counterpart - younger than Mother Night - spoken as the embodiment of the first existence of starlight of a star which has the properties of a life-giving sun.
Most of the Enduring Ones spend most of their time fulfilling their functions as embodiments of natural forces.

Noted as the oldest of The Enduring Ones, Destine always appears as a hooded figure dressed in robes of grey or brown, carrying an enormous open tome named The Woven Nebula of Fates. The massive tome that Destine holds is linked to his wrist by chain made of gold ... The question of if the book chained to Destine or he is chained to the book, remains unanswered.
Within the book is glass pages full of writing of the entire sum of existence, past, present and future - the clasp made of Oōruritē.
Destine can read any information from within the tome, however only The Fates can change the contents. Destine holds the tome with no desire to readily share the knowledge inside - nor to share those interactions he has with The Fates with most mortal beings. However, Destine does show in moderation and with self-restraint, when speaking with other immortals.

Scythe's appearance at the beginning of a person's life is as Uhlume - looks to be a beautiful Aasimar with polished jet-black skin, milk-white hair and eyes, and white clothes - with an ankh impression on the silver case of a pocket watch, and a small black raven on one shoulder.
During a person's life, Scythe usually appears as The Raven Queen - appearing in a white Oōruritē face mask, her onyx-black straight hair, and black robes in the company of black ravens. The silver Ankh unseen beneath the ropes. The figure has been know to scare people into better behaviours, warn of danger, or aid in stopping an Undead creature.

Wears a shoulder cape made of black raven feathers, over a black gown, that laces at back, a silver ankh attached to her coin pouch, and tall lace-up boots.
At the timing of a person death, Scythe will appear in one form or another, depending on the person's beliefs and expectations - always with her horse Haden :-

* A deep speaking skeleton in a black robe with a scythe (the anthropomorphic personification of Death in some people's minds), often riding one a skeletal horse.

What caused Solandra to become Mania is entwined with the corruption of her lover Moonweaver to become Hecate Darkmoon.
* Solandra saw what The Enchantress Ezmia and other Hags were planning - she tried to stop the corruption.
* Solandra was tortured to bring Moonweaver to the location.
* Moonweaver was trapped and through casting of Eldritch magic by a large group of Hags, became Hecate Darkmoon.
* Solandra became Mania, with sorrow of loosing Moonweaver - and changed her plane to Extraneous.
* Troilus left his realm - deciding to destroy people's old-fashioned mind sets instead of fighting - changed art and tried to remove prejudices - he captured The Fates.
* Acosador stepped into the role of "Destruction", however does on a smaller yet more harmful way.
* Perdita took to hiding within The Plane of Void, for a long period - and frequently returns there for 'peace'.
* A strange, magical tree grew on what is now known as 'One Tree Hill' in the Pelago Islands .

Troilus is a very tall, muscular, broad red-haired, bearded man. Beard has beads threaded throughout it. He has a harsh temper, and was for a long time controlled by his anger. His voice can project to boom across a noisy 'battlefield'. Troilus has always been humble and willingly to help others seek glory.
In the days of The Corruption of Moonweaver (to become Hecate Darkmoon ). The Fates were taken as prisoners. Hidden away in a dark section of Warrior's Ridge (still located within Limbo). Gunnar captured The Fates - holding them for a long time - asking them to change his destiny. It was Lachesis who added on to his thread, while changing the colour of the thread - from Gold of the Immoral to black of the Unseen Ones.
In appearances set in earlier centuries, he is depicted as Gunnar wearing military gear (such as a musketeer's uniform, or armour made from Oōruritē) - clean shaven and very short hair.
Occasionally, he appeared as a large grey Abyssal Rabbit, as a harbinger of war.
In more recent times, Troilus is shown in colourful casual clothes, with an Oōruritē pendant on a cord around his neck - also has taken to wearing his long red hair in a ponytail and growing a thick red beard.
Once he enjoyed the torments and horrors of long wars - proving his skill at combats, wars and battles. He has become more relaxed and creative. He is still loud, yet shows more of his caring nature.
Troilus abandoned his responsibilities as one of the Enduring Ones hundreds of years ago, after requesting The Fates change his role - when they would not straight away The Fates were taken as prisoners by Gunnar. He hid them away in a dark section of Warrior's Ridge (still located within what is now known as Limbo). Gunnar had captured The Fates - holding them for a long time - asking them to change his destiny. Hidden away in a dark section of Warrior's Ridge (still located within Limbo). Gunnar captured The Fates - holding them for a long time - asking them to change his destiny. In appearances set in earlier centuries, he is depicted as Gunnar wearing military gear (such as a musketeer's uniform, or armour made from Oōruritē) - clean shaven and very short hair.
Occasionally, he appeared as a large grey Abyssal Rabbit, as a harbinger of war.
In more recent times, Troilus is shown in colourful casual clothes, with an Oōruritē pendant on a cord around his neck - also has taken to wearing his long red hair in a ponytail and growing a thick red beard.
Once he enjoyed the torments and horrors of long wars - proving his skill at combats, wars and battles. He has become more relaxed and creative. He is still loud, yet shows more of his caring nature.

The only two of the Enduring Ones considered to be actually related as they first appeared as if stitched together - it was a slow process for them to separate. They tend not to stand too close together - each wanting to be an individual.CRAVE

Considered the youngest of the Enduring Ones, Mania appears as a colourful young girl whose form changes occasionally - often based on the random fluctuations of her temperament. She will lazy for hours in a plane of realm of her choosing, taking the time to wait for something that will entertain her to happen.
Mania has even less to do with The Fates than when she was Solandra. The Fates find her chaotic style of doing things often too disruptive, rather than useful.
A large part of their personality is exquisite and imaginative. She has wild hair and eccentric, mismatched, wavy and unpredictable clothes. Fishes float in air around her head. Her shadow never reflects her shape, and is tangible, like velvet.

FISH = goldfish coloured orange, white and black Soveh Mania has an aversion to being touched. She is said to smell of sweet sweat, late nights, sour wine, and old leather. She is often in the company of her dog Barnabas - a gift from her brother Troilus.
Her transformation occurred because she lost her innocence - the only way that an innocent could cope with the world after this was to embrace madness and chaos. For the longest time Mania retreated in Extraneous, appearing as a red Tiefling with Oōruritē spiral horns and a long spiked tail.
When Mania did reappear she came with the intention of sowing mischief and sorrow upon the worlds of Esau and Lyre, specifically to teach creatures the folly of worshiping the deities. Her ravings causes a rift between the deities, as they disagreed how to deal with what other considered Mania's Tantrum. Eventually she abandons those actions, deciding that chaos and some lunacy.
Her only permanent physical characteristic is that one of her eyes is green with Oōruritē flecks and the other blue, but even those sometimes switch between left and right. She often seems very childlike and still quite innocent - yet Mania is more scatterbrained and easily distracted - she often forgets the thread of her conversations and comes out with offbeat and seemingly inconsequential observations.
Mania is also quick to respond angrily to rudeness, leading her to occasionally punish people without mercy - usually with a form of madness. Mania is usually in a confused mental state that causes disorientation and confusion. It starts suddenly and can come and go. Mania often has a playful attitude, regarding some events with ecstatic joy - such as being held above the ground by a Wyvern, or to Crave splitting into multiple incarnations before her. The other Enduring Ones tend to be overly-protective of her - even Acosador. Yet, Mania seems to know many things none of the other Enduring Ones know, and can travel to any Realm or Plane she chooses.

Her age makes her unique among the Enduring Ones, as she appears so young (between 14 and 19 years old). Despite her appearance, she is actually quite wise - however, in her case, the wisdom came at a price - staying in the "serious" state causes her pain, so most of the time, it's easier for her to be a bit crazy, and sometimes prefers to be a fish.

* Troilus describes a situation in which Scythe (The Raven Queen) told Troilu that everybody knows everything and they just pretend they do not - yet neither Troilus nor Azhrarn (ruler of The Dream Realm) really understand, accept or have faith in that fact.
Mania, however, says, "She is. um. Right. Kind of. Not knowing everything is all that makes it okay, sometimes."
Her realm of Extraneous is as weird as her. Her symbol is an abstract, shapeless blob of colours. Delirium likes to walk on clouds, blowing bubbles, following an Oōruritē thread, and being in-between places. Favourite colour is fluorescent plants and creatures especially at 4am. Her age makes her unique among the Enduring Ones, as she appears so young (between 14 and 19 years old). Despite her appearance, she is actually quite wise - however, in her case, the wisdom came at a price - staying in the "serious" state causes her pain, so most of the time, it's easier for her to be a bit crazy, and sometimes prefers to be a fish.
When Mania turns into a perfect colourful fish, she will take a long time to proceed to recompose herself - sometimes she chooses butterflies instead.
The Corruption
Told in the Legend of Delight No More.Remembrance is known as Hasta Rīz Wēp Fôlan - held on On the 11th day of Saiph, each year.
What caused Solandra to become Mania is entwined with the corruption of her lover Moonweaver to become Hecate Darkmoon.
* Solandra saw what The Enchantress Ezmia and other Hags were planning - she tried to stop the corruption.
* Solandra was tortured to bring Moonweaver to the location.
* Moonweaver was trapped and through casting of Eldritch magic by a large group of Hags, became Hecate Darkmoon.
* Solandra became Mania, with sorrow of loosing Moonweaver - and changed her plane to Extraneous.
* Troilus left his realm - deciding to destroy people's old-fashioned mind sets instead of fighting - changed art and tried to remove prejudices - he captured The Fates.
* Acosador stepped into the role of "Destruction", however does on a smaller yet more harmful way.
* Perdita took to hiding within The Plane of Void, for a long period - and frequently returns there for 'peace'.
* A strange, magical tree grew on what is now known as 'One Tree Hill' in the Pelago Islands .
