Makai is the 3rd layer of The Hells.

Makai is a vast dead forest. The Morrígan encourages warriors to do brave deeds, to prove their worth in sight of her greatness, and gives them poisonous kisses in return. She delivers a series of terrifying warnings, a painful death to those already dead.

In art, Makai is portrayed as a vast dead forest, where Devil washing the bloodstained clothes of those deceased.

THE MORRIGAN

Morrigan (The Morrígan or Mórrígan, also known as Morrígu) is a Succubus and a powerful princess (later queen) of The Hells 3rd layer Makai, who is a very vain Fiend - living for little more than the excitement of battle.

A desirable, terror, monstrousness, nightmare queen. Morrígan has an ambiguous and inconsistent nature, who can appear anywhere on her layer - often referred to as the "Phantom Queen".
