The Trials of the Magus

Every apprentice who studies on the Isle Of Mystrium eventually must take the trials if they wish to learn stronger magic.   Each of the three orders, Order of Creations, Order of Sages, Order of the Voyagers  submits tests that they want the apprentice to overcover to the Magi in charge of the Trials. If an order is particularly interested in an apprentice they may make their trials more complex in order to truly test them.   Before the apprentice can take the Order Challenges they must succeed in a Trial of Knowledge; this is a test given to them by a Spirit who resides in the caves to the east of the Village of Libraries. This Spirit, Eolinus, has resided on the island since the Age of Spirits and is said to have helped the First Magus in his quest for magic at the beginning of the Mortal Age.
