Corven

The Corven are humanoid people with Raven heads and wings to enable them to fly. They live in the mountain peak Avinhome. They remain very isolated with incredibly limited contact with the outside world.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Generally thin bird-like humanoids. They have two large wings on their back that come from their shoulder blades, folding upwards to about the top of their heads and then downwards towards the ground. They have beaks for mouths, but are good enough at mimicking vocal patterns of other creatures to form the same words. Hollowed bones make them light enough for flight with their wings.

Growth Rate & Stages

The Corven grow at a similar rate to humans, reaching maturity at around 15 years of age.     Hatchling > Nestling > Chick > Fledgling > Juvenile > Adult

Dietary Needs and Habits

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

They have powerful voices that they use to distract travellers or defend themselves. One voice sounds like the whispers of the winds that are known to drive people crazy. The second voice, as they grow becomes like a blast of thunder.

Civilization and Culture

Culture and Cultural Heritage

Each Family was created by Spirit of Life and one of the lesser Spirits. This has caused each family to have their own distinct familial personality and feather patterns.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

For the most part the Corven do not have much experience with other races due to their isolation in the mountain homes. They are wary of the interactions and do not seek it as of yet.
