Academy of Magicka
In the city of Castle Drallock, there is a school where a person can learn magic from accomplished wizards. Unlike a traditional apprenticeship, only the basic magics are taught to those who study here. Manaisolas "The Dragon of Virtue" commissioned the start of the academy so that all the citizens of her land could have the opportunity to learn some magic to improve their lives.
There are two tracks in the academy: the free courses that are taught to any citizen wishing to learn basic spells, and more involved courses that involve living at the academy for 5 years. At the end of this time the student would know enough about magic in order to learn on their own or potentially get an apprenticeship with a fully fledge wizard. This track costs 200 gold pieces a year along with a pledge to serve the realm in times of war.
