The party meets up at the Church of the Golden Vein. Nemnai is interrogated privately in one of the staff rooms in the back of the church and is revealed to not actually be Nemnai.

The Nemnai imposter is dubbed Notnai by her own choosing, unwilling to reveal her real name for fear of their mother's wrath. Nemnai supposedly helped Notnai at some point during their shared imprisonment, which led to the party rescuing Notnai instead of Nemnai the previous night.

The only other concrete information the party gains during the investigation is that she claims that her mother's name is the draconic word for "Ruby."
