Infiltration through Inebriation

Prossh, disguised as Vortash, and Karn approach the Quartz guard barracks, as planned. Laldryn and Zelana act as lookouts from the patio of Drake's Drink, posing as patrons while keeping tabs on the status of the barrack's entrance.

• Prossh and Karn successfully persuade the entrance guards to fetch their captain, a Rose Quartz dragonborn named Kilve Nar, to validate and accept the gift. Neither the guards or the captain are wise to any foul play as they invite the deceivers in.
• Prossh and Karn are led upstairs; Prossh to the Captain's Study to discuss potential future business, and Karn with the guardsmen to deliver the goods to the quartermaster of the barracks.
• Meanwhile at Drake's Drink, once the guards let Prossh and Karn in, Laldryn sets up an illusion at the entrance to make it appear as though new guards have replaced the old ones, to minimize the likelihood of suspicion from the outside.
• Karn, with the assistance of the guards helping him carry the barrel, convinces the quartermaster to freely use spirits from their own stock, not only those gifted tonight. The guards go ahead and start moving barrels from the stock to the first floor training grounds and start distributing drinks.
• Prossh, on the other hand, is proposed a deal, where the Quartz guards will release only people that he can provide a description of, and Kilve will forget that Prossh attempted to use magic to influence him. Refusing to compromise his ideals, Prossh attempts to enchant the captain again, this time succeeding very narrowly. The party starts to kick up into full swing, with the encouragement of the enchanted captain in abundance.
• Back at Drake's Drink, awaiting a signal from the infiltration crew, Zelana notices that something has been added to her drink. Acting clumsy, she spills the drink onto the table to deceive anyone who might be watching. Unfortunately, the drink spills onto Laldryn's cards. Within about 15 minutes or so, Zelana and Laldryn start to feel strange effects and quickly realize they've still been drugged.
• Using Prestidigitation, Laldryn cleans up the cards and the table of the mysterious glittering powder and piles it up in the center of the table. To the ladies' horror, they realize that the powder is dracodust and that they have had extended contact with it through the amount that spilled onto the cards.
• Rapidly feeling more severe effects of dracodust ingestion, Zelana and Laldryn both figuratively and literally drag their way to Frostbite to seek help from Ormin.
