Emilia Eclipe

The first Hybrid Royal, and a Nature Elemental. Emilia is an anomaly, in both her power and her relatively long lifespan, considering her species' tendency to consume themselves. Twisted by years of Royal duties while hiding her true nature, for the last two decades she has committed herself to her Ravager half. Whatever remains of the Elemental Emilia may have once been has long disappeared, filled with bitter spite and a hatred for both sides of the eternal conflict. After a failed coup a little over two decades ago, Emilia has been exiled from all Elemental countries. Her goal now is to convert the Hybrids she finds to her radical beliefs of destroying both the Elementals and Ravagers. Those that she converts are 'lovingly' referred to as her 'children'.

History

Once a respected member of Elemental Royalty, Emilia was born into the Royal Family of Tierra as Emilia Fairisles. Throughout her childhood, Emilia struggled as all Hybrids do, with two sides of herself constantly trying to consume each other. For fear of negative talk around the Royal family, she was kept significantly isolated since her poor habit of chewing off her fingers in 'fits' as her parent saw them, were 'distasteful'. At her awakening ceremony, it would be discovered that she was a Nature Elemental, a fact that instantly increased her renown and status from just another princess to a major part of Elemental politics.

It isn't known at what point Emilia ceased to fight the Ravager that formed her other half, and instead gave into it. What is known that as an adult ruling in court and at the Elemental Coalition, people would go missing. At first these generally included people who were frustrating international politics, and while their disappearance was suspicious, things did seem to run better for a time afterwards. She married. Had two children, one of which was a pure-blooded Fire Elemental, while the other was a Mixed Elemental. But eventually, Emilia seemed to run out of unimportant diplomats to consume.

Seeing as people were catching on, Emilia planned a coup of the Firina. Planning to use the military strength of the Fires in order to weaken the other nations, so that she could destroy them over time. Even then, she was already slowly finding her kind, as other Hybrids seemed almost magnetically attracted to her. No longer did they consume themselves so young, with a Royal Hybrid at their side.

Her coup was foiled, despite her efforts, by none other than her own daughter and her allies. Escaping with her life, and her newfound 'children', Emilia has disappeared into the shadows, slowly growing her army.

The Eclipse and her Children

Renaming herself as Emilia Eclipe, and declaring herself the Eclipse's Queen, she continues to build up her kingdom of Hybrids. While Emilia herself has not been seen recently, her children are constantly being found committing terroristic acts and spying on various Elementals. It is unknown exactly how many children she has converted to her beliefs over the years, but most would estimate that she is building a substantial army. They have taken on a mission to try and replace many in higher up positions. From what has been learned from her members, Emilia's 'Eclipse' is the idea that the Hybrids will grow in such numbers to smother out both the Ravagers and the Elementals, throwing both into the darkness forever. They work to increase Ravager attacks on Elemental towns and poorly defended settlements, while also allowing them into the larger ones, generally with the goal to create more of themselves.

The Ravagers themselves are not safe from Emilia's vision either, instead, she works to destroy and consume the Gold of other universes that normally would fall to them. Since the Hybrids are connected through Emilia to the Gold, they do not desperately rely on it as much as the Ravagers do. And they are successfully managing to starve them out.
