Ceilic Region
The Ceilic Region is a large portion of the Continent of Eregost, taking up the majority of the South. Filled with lush green forests, inhospitable marshlands and breathtaking mountains and valleys.
The Ceilic Region does not have one official government, but is instead ruled by five clans, each one with different laws and traditions.
Culture
The inhabitants of the Ceilic Region all admire freedom and independence. Laws only ensure there is no extreme wrongdoing, and so there are very few laws. The clans of the Ceilic Region prefer to enjoy simple lives, mostly filled with hunting, farming, smithing, druidic rituals and drinking.
Most in the Ceilic Region see the Venatorian Empire as a great evil, a group of Authoritarians seeking to impose their views on others, trying to take away their way of life.
Military
The warriors of the Ceilic region vary in martial strength from a mere annoyance in the eyes of their foes, to deadly enemies of great strength or supernatural power.
Chieftains lead the Clans and have an astonishing amount of combat training, often as fighters or barbarians.
Druids and Nature Domain Clerics guide the clans in religious matters, and are horrifyingly powerful opponents, their supernatural abilities terrify less experienced legionnaires.
Rangers patrol the wilderness of the region, and will not hesitate to defend their home from invaders with a mix of martial prowess and druidic magic.
Religion
The Ceilic religion is mostly druidic, and worships the Titans of old, Gaia in particular. They see these ancient and subdued gods as parts of the natural world, and must be revered as such.
Foreign Relations
The Ceilic Clans rarely have contact with the outside world. They occasionally trade with the Authenians and experience ever increasing skirmishes with Venatorian legionnaires.
Priesthood
The Clans of the Ceilic Region are guided by druids and Nature Domain Clerics. These druids guide the clan and preform religious rituals. Children that are seen to have an affinity for nature are given the opportunity to go through the rigerous training needed to become appointed.
Druids often wear dyed dark green leather armour with a cloak. They always have some form of plantlife on them, moss or lichen growing on their armour, or ivy on their cloaks.
