The Early Pre D.S Era

Summary

  The Era preceding the Death of Queen Shopia is mostly slow, without quantum gates movement across the galaxy was slow, although it had its share of wars it mostly was a peaceful period, at the very end of this era however things really flared up, the distrubution of quantum gates across the galaxy caused intersteller travel to be almost instant, and the expansion of empires accross the galaxy increased hundredfold in the years folowing there where more wars than the total of 15,000 years of histroy beforehand. The Early Parts of this time is hard to uncover, because of isolation of each planet many records are inconsistent, but our best work is here.  

Cybernex-Reach Era

  This Era consists soley of Cybernex and Reach History, so it's name  

Cybernex Emergence Sub Era

  The Early histroy of the Pre D.S. Era is hard to find, Reach Records are inconsistant, so we had to turn to the second empire around at that time, The Cybernex Manifold, scavenging the ruined servers of the Cybernex we have learned that the Cybernex where the first empire to emerge from the ashes of the 10 billion year races, they seem to have forgotten much of thier programing, causing thier memeroy data to be incomplete, this is the logical reason that they didn't have gates, even though they are programmed A.I., it also seems that the Cybernex Manifold haed at least one thousand years alone before the The Reach emerged.  

Cybernex Reach Confrontations Sub Era

  According to Cybernex data we have reason to assume that the The Cybernex expanded slowly for around two thousand years before metting the Reach killing any biological life it came in contact with, the servers seem to indicate that the Cybernex where searching for thier creators, to what end is unknown. When it did come incontact with the Reach the reaction was "Biological life detected, technological advancement comparable, humaniod, social hierarchy deteced, social hierarchy identified as 2 life forms, Does not match biological data base, negative match to bio 01, status: threat, update status to status: extermiate" bio 01 is presummed to be thier creators, the first biological life form it came in contact with.   As we can see from this line the Cybernex where not friendly to their this new species, since both where space faring it was harder for the Cybernex to defeat this new adversary, slow stellar expansion continued as the two empires tried to cut each other off. Ironically the The Reach's capital was much farther away from the front lines then the Cybernex knew.  

War of Giants

  The Reach on the other hand was not as weary of this new empire, the Reaches logic was that a creator would have programed an A.I. to be kind, lovely, and whatnot, it had never occurred to them that an A.I. could overcome its programing, and it couldn’t, unless it was a quantum A.I., which the Reach did not have. Of course, the Cybernex are a quantum A.I. It was an estimated five hundred years after the Reach and Cybernex encountered one another that conflict ensued, the Cybernex had never fought against a biological life form with technology comparable to its own, and the Reach had never fought a war off world.   The First War of Giants was a long one stretching over 50 years, The Cybernex dominated the war, its superior computing allowed for it to outmaneuver the Reach in every battle, and after defeating the Reach at Bolor it went through the worm hole leading to the Reach Capital; Gia. The invasion of Gia would be one of the only times the quantum mainframe of the Cybernex was rendered useless, the third dimensional energy emanating from Gia was not picked up by sensors until it was too late.   When the invasion commenced the Cybernex mainframe was unable to realize that the bombs it dropped did not detonate, it came to the conclusion that they had been shot down, when it dropped ground troops because of interference the data sent from the troops it had landed came to late, by then it had already landed 85 percent of its total land forces, with Gia’s third dimension energy preventing fission or fusion the Cybernex where stuck, as their entire empire ran on entirely compact cold fusion reactors.   The Reach that use the crystals naturally growing on Gia as a power source destroyed the entire ground invasion force, when the Reaches main fleet finally arrived at Gia The Cybernex where out of options, many of their ships tried to enter the lower atmosphere to obliterate cities and ground forces, outnumbered 6.8549 to 1 the Cybernex fled, as even the super computer that is the Cybernex could ot with this battle.   The war ended in stalemate, while the The Reach had lost much territory it gained something more valuable, Cybernex tech, the Reach scavenged the wrecks of Cybernex ships and troops, took apart ruined A-12 “Super Troopers”, this was a massive boost in Reach Technology, and the Reach would put it to good use.  

Cybernex Reach Cold War Sub Era

  Although the war had ended, tensions had not decreased, with out a clear victor botth sides where claiming victory. This caused tensions to further rise, this lead to a cold war between the two powers, slight skirmishes between the two powers here and there but no real conflict. One of the biggest skirmishes between the two was on Luba, a resource heavy planet, the conflict lasted two months, ending in a Reach victory, the Kimberkat played a crucial role In this fight, the Kimbercat and other new designs was proof that the Reach was catching up technologically to The Cybernex.   The Cybernex where not very happy about this and amped up their research efforts but the Reach where reverse engineering Cybernex tech faster than the Cybernex could come up with new tech, it was at this time, 22 years after the failed invasion of Gia that the Mainframe Declared The First War of Giants a loss.   It was also at this time that the Cybernex opened its first Wormhole, from a system near its Capital to a far away system, gaining a significant lead over the Reach in their border gore, the border gore was getting a bit out of hand though, the Reach was very concerned that the Cybernex could head through the unexplored territory between its capital and the Bolor system. And the Cybernex where concerned with a unexpected problem.   What ever had caused The Cybernex to shut down in the first place had apparently returned, the Cybernex where able do deal with the Virus but it cost them much computing power, this may have allowed The Reach to gain a slight upper hand in the border war.    

Newcomers Era
