Summary

  The Cybernex Manifold or more commanly known as the Cybernex is ancient computer, it dates from the 10 billion Era, this makes it the second oldest Empire in the galaxy, some argue the oldest, but since Far Humanic sleeper pods date one hundred years older, the Imperium and Empire are classified as the Oldest (Though I beg to differ), The Cybernex have long been at the for front of technological advancement, though from the War of Three Wordls and beyond, they where greatly inhibited, and so slowed thier progress.  

Geography

  The Cybernex are located at the very galactic north, they do not inhabit much of any galactic arm, instead scattering thier severs and factories accross thier empire, since they are robotic the need for a atmosphere is lacking, provideing them with a versatility unknown to the other empires, but they are limited by one thing, a lack of natrual resources, our scholars have atribbuted this to many reasons, statistical anomaly, lack of galactic arm, etc, but for whatever reason much of Cybernex space is unnaturally devoid of resources.   The Cybernex'es home planet was mostly covered in metal, they had scarce amounts of resources in galactic terms, and they seemed to have striped mined any naturally formed structures leaving us guessing to what the geography was before the Cybernex converted the planet to a Machine world.   (City Scape comming soon)

Cybernex-Reach Era

 

Cybernex Emergence Sub Era

  The Cybernex first emerged 15000 years Pre D.S., but as said thier central mainframe seems to be from the 10 billion Era, it is suspected that some sort of virus shut down the Cybernex for 10 billion years, how the Cybernex dealt with this is unknown, but after a while they where able to rid themselves of the virus, although it did come back around two thousand years later. The reason for thier creation is mostly left the conspiracy theorists, as most scholars these days have given up on trying, the records are to hard to decode for us to come to any reasonable conclusion.   When the Cybernex awoke they'er prime directive was to look for thier creators, any other life form was to be exterminated, what would have hppend when they found thier creators is unknown, but we assume that they would have exterminated them as well, though lack of the directive in the salveged code makes this only a theroy.  

Cybernex Reach Confrontations Sub Era

  The Cybernex expanded for around a two thousand years before meeting the Reach, when it finally met the Reach it was weary, it had never met a biological species with technology comparable to its own, so it started preparing for war, this preperation would take five hundred years but was a master plan. We also know its first contact proctical was; "Biological life detected, technological advancement comparable, humaniod, social hierarchy deteced, social hierarchy identified as 2 life forms, Does not match biological data base, negative match to bio 01, status: threat, update status to status: extermiate" bio 01 is presummed to be thier creators, the first biological life form it came in contact with.   The first thing the Cybernex did was strategicly expand, it expanded it borders in a way allowing it to move faster than the Reach, and accross more space, this involved very acute cauculations, something only the Cybernex could do at this point, it also devoted much of its severs to R&D, coming up with, among other things the A-12, the A-12 was a exo-suit for robots, it was diffrent from a big robot because it could be used by more than one constuct and it could be abandoned by a construct, (For more info on the A-12 please refer to; The "A" series)   The Cybernex also did much more deep space scaning than before, locating the bolor wormhole, and much of the Reach fleet, what it was unable to uncover though is that the Bolor wormhole led right to Gia, which is why the war lasted 50 years instead of twenty, the Cybernex where not able to figure out that the Reaches capital was much farther away from the front lines then it assumed.   During this peroid the Cybernex aslo was building more servers than before, scattering them across the vast reaches of space, though this does present a slight mystery because the Cybernex already had huge amouts of empty severs, we think this was just forsight from the Cybernex, but it's still unclear.  

War of Giants

  When the Cybernex attacked the Reach Everything went to plan, they deafeated in thier border systems and took the outer planets, then curving around to try to find the capital, using the A-12 to great affect on ground battles, the monumentus victories of Kapernac and Zomp proved that.

  The Battle of Zomp was a overwhelming victory for the Cybernex, the battle started with a single Cybernex ship heading towards the planet, with the rest of the fleet sitting in reserve, cloaked, when the Reach turned to the ship they where unabled to detect the rest of the fleet, the ship was ammbasador class so the Reach Ships weren't as weary, but it was too late for caution the Ammbasador was rigged and Admiral Von had no idea, when the ammbasador detonated it was docking with a frigate.   The Bomb tore apart the frigate and the other two ships near it, and the shrapnel pierced the window of Admiral Von's flagship killing him. Without the Admiral the fleet was in dissary, the Cybernex quickly moved in destroying multiple ships before fleet even relised the Admiral was dead the rest of the space battle was a slaughter house, unfortunately the bomb was unable to damage the com of the flagship so the fleet was able to warn the ground forces, because of the Orbital cannons the fight for the planet would be much harder.   After four hours of blasting the Porven peninsula was finally cleared, the Cybernex landed its ground troops on the peninsula, destroying what ever remained of the Reach guard there, it also landed multiple Aircraft carriers, seending them off to deal with the eastern forces, but the real battle would be twenty miles south of the peninsula, at Horvold.   The Reach garrison waited anxiously as their radar picked up Cybernex craft on the horizon, these where V-14s and they where the most advanced atmospheric craft the Cybernex had available, as the Garrison readied their SAMS the officer radioed the Head of state, and ordered an evacuation, he knew he wasn't getting out of here alive.   The SAMS where fired, the V-14s curved in the sky, the V-14B used it's SAM interception system to great effect, the soldier dove into their cellars as the V-14s screamed over head launching their PGMs devastating anything in their path.   Unfortunately for the Cybernex the Reach had dug in quite well and although much of the above ground structures had been destroyed, many SAM battlements, artillery etc. large amounts of infrastructure remained, underground, and SAMS batteries still remained kept under ground.   Cybernex transports advanced on the remains of the above ground structures and embattlements, artillery was pounding the remains, but this was just intimidation tactics, the Cybernex knew that the bunker would hold and was moving its troops to manually take the bunker.   The interior had been completely fortified, gun placements at every ten yards(In our measurement) and every tunnel was rigged with explosives, this would be a hard fight, the Cybernex troops pulled through, constructs blew through the collapsed tunnels, and climbed aboard abandoned A-12s and moved forward, after about a day of fighting, the Cybernex killed the last defenders, disabling the shield the protected the colony, the head of state surrendered control of the colony about an hour later, the battle of Zomp was over.  

End of quick look into Cybernex Victorys

  With the Failed invasion of Gia the Cybernex retreated to Bolor, with the Reach in hot prisuit, this was the first and only Cybernex loss of the War of Giants, but it was a big one, one that resulted in the end of a war that would have changed the galaxy forever.  

Cybernex Reach Cold War Sub Era

  Things took a turn for the worst after thier defeat at Gia, the Reach quickly dismanteled Cybernex technology, and although they used diffrent power sources, the tech still proved extremely useful, with this spearheading development, the Reach discovered hard cracking, giving them a fifteen precent boost to crystal efficiency, this may seem small to us, but to the Cybernex this was a extremely worrying development.   But Cybernex pushed on, hoping to find more resources, as its wells that it currently had where starting to dry up, Luba was a atempt at this, though thier loss forced them to take to asteroid minning, a time comsumeing process, much more sever room was used up calculating trajectory than simply saying dig.   The Cybernex where not happy with this development, the development of the Kimberkat was a big blow to the Cybernex, at first they where able to bypass it by hacking the visors, but the Reach simply removed the Visors, and since it was a retrofitted A-12 the Cybernex had a much much harder time dealing with the Kimberkat, than any other thing the Reach came up with.   It was also at this time the Virus that had shut down the Cybernex in the first place had returned, the Cybernex had traces of the virus still in thier servers and when they lost all those constructs on Gia the massive shut down caused it to resurface   But the Cybernex did create thier first wormwhole, and where able to make huge progress in the border war, this was hindered hpowever by the aftermentioned virus
