Crimson Chain
An inquisition-like, disciplined order, the Crimson Chain is far above the militia and general peacekeeping organizations in rank. They’re generally only deployed to battle threats to the crown and use ruthless methods to get to their goals.
Structure
Ranks, from lowest to highest;
Justicar
First rank attainable within the organization.
Ensign
Oversees Justicars - basically give them commands for missions. Non-willing conscripts generally do not advance past this rank. Generally magic-focused.
Medicus
Healers of the Crimson Chain.
Adjunct
Similar to Ensign in rank. Uses both magic and melee, often ex-paladins of Dol Dorn.
Strategos
Often responsible for planning & maintenance of the ranks and deployment. Generally not sent on missions unless being on-location is necessary.
Grand Commander
There are 3 of these. Act as advisors to the Sunshield.
Sunshield
Highest possible rank for the organization. Only one Sunshield serves at a time.
