Being a champion is a curse like no other. Each god gives this gift to one mortal man each.
Symptoms
People who are afflicted display unique talents and abilities based off of that god's domain.
Treatment
Only two humans were able to shake off the divine mantle of champion. Jia and Chen Xi. Jia cut off her own arm to get rid of the curse of Mab as for Chen Xi she "gifted" Hers to Aziza. Though it is unknown how in particular she did it.
Prognosis
All champions have only one outcome and that is losing their will and minds to whatever Deity they are champion to.
Hosts & Carriers
each god is said to have a champion. Known champions are / were
- Ace Rosenburg - Ace was the Host of Xoch Pili in the first timeline but, after the reset by Rao he instead became the champion of Gabrial
- Ellenore De Arcy (Deceased) - Ellenore in both timelines was the champion of Rao
- Chen XI - Chen Xi hosted Shennong inside her body but, upon deciding she did not need his power or wanted to deal with his curse instead gave the power to Aziza
- Aziza - Aziza holds the power of Shennong. she was gifted this power by Chen Xi
- Phyllis - Phylis holds the power of Queen Mab and so far is shown to be the only person able to contain the chaos
- Jia Hissie - Jia at one point in time contained the power of Queen Mab but after she saw the chaos Mab raked in her life. She chose Jessica over Mab and cut off her own arm
- Forrest Demolisher - Demi when she was resurrected by Ace in the first time line was imbued with the powers of Yimir
- Raul Dupart - in both time lines he possesses the powers of Oberon
- Sonki Thorrison - a dwarf in Weisshalt who can access the forge, she possesses the powers of Hreidmar
- Ines Integra - After her defeat to the hands of La Fu she was possessed by the goddess of vengeance and justice, Mafdet
- Yoshi Akihito - Akihito is claimed by the goddess Hel in both time lines
- Yoshi Yuki - Akihito's sister was also used by Hel at one point as her champion
- Luis Rodrigo - A pirate who has the powers of Brigid
- Jessica Rodrigo - In the first timeline Jessica took the power of Jia (the god) and became her champion
- Jaken Hall - A twisted priest who claimed power with Lolth.
- Nega Black - A half orc who at one point was actually contested by both Grummesh and Macha. Grummesh won out.
- Crow - Crow at least in the first timeline was shown to be Mama Wata's champion
- Delilah - The first champion ever encountered by player characters. She has been Titania's champion since an incident in the Forrest of Illusion.
Cultural Reception
Being a champion is seen as an honor by the Church of the 15 points but, Most champions themselves will tell you it is not an easy task to bear at all. The only person who has been happy with the outcome thus far is Aziza who took the gift from Chen Xi
