Sfaira, The Sky-Mother
Description
In the ancient mythology, Sfaira is the youngest of the Diafora, and the one they all turn to for guidance. Her domain is the sky itself, stretching over her sister/wife Ifilios, The Great Sphere, to create the world that the ancient mortals lived in. On her side are her children with Ifilios, Zimeroma, The Daybreaker , Sourou, The Darkness , and Pemenos, The Fate , who appear as the three moons of Eoferan. In the most ancient of the Eoferan religious texts, the Homilies the pantheon of the time was known as the Diafora, and the head of these beings of elemental forces was known as Sfaira. She was as much the goddess of the sky as much as she was the sky herself, stretching over the vastness of the world and providing a barrier between the realm of the gods Zorya, and the material plane of Eoferan who was known as Ifilios, The Great Sphere.
Sfaira was the lover and wife of Ifilios, and between the goddesses bore three children, that appear in their mother's side as the three moons of Eoferan, Zimeroma, The Daybreaker, Sourou, The Darkness, and Pemenos, The Fate. Each of the children sliding down their mother's side across the horizon.
