Founding

The Democratic Freedom People's Survey Corps is founded by The Republic to explore the The Heartlands of the ancient Kalyxian Empire. This new organization is intended to conduct exploration beyond the Republic's borders, document geological and cultural discoveries in the regions they discover, bring order to the borderlands of the Republic, and conduct other relevant civic projects to lend legitimacy to the still-new government. A secondary mission of the corps is to discover whether it will be possible to spread the Republic's democracy to the surrounding regions. The corps is initially headed by Corps Leader and based in Fort Wayte, a small town situated on the edge between the Republic proper and the untamed Heartlands.
