The world of Enon is old, and filled to the brim with the relics of the past. The Kalyxian Empire stood for a thousand years before falling, and the ruins of their civilization are visible all around the world. Once, the vast majority of the world was explored and inhabited, but since the fall of the Kalyxian Empire vast swaths have been reclaimed by the wilderness and time.

You are adventurers in the world, and choose to delve deep into the uncharted wilderness for fame and glory. On the borders of the Republic, the small town of Fort Wayte is the last bastion of civilzation before the Heartlands, once the capital of the Kalyxian Empire.

The goal of the campaign will be yours to decide, with no set structure or even a set party, you will form small groups and undertake whatever quests you desire! The heart of the game will lie in exploring the vast unknown, claiming the secrets in the ruins of the Kalyxian Empire and those that have come to inhabit it since, so make sure your characters are intrinsically motivated to explore this land! You have all joined the Republican Survey Corps, an organization founded by the government that exists within the structure of the military but under their own chain of command. Your mission is to map the Heartlands, discover the secrets of the lost empire, and prepare the empty land for settlement. Perhaps you just never sat well in civilized society. Perhaps you are patriotic Republicans, and want to help tame and reclaim the Heartlands, in order to lend the Republic legitimacy in the eyes of its feudal neighbors. Or perhaps you have gold on your mind, and just want to return home fabulously wealthy.
